What if you combined one or two NAS drives to your computer network to have hands on access to all of your data in small compact unit (under 3 pounds) that could easily be removed if need be and could also serve as the connection-point to an online backup as in my previous post: Don’t Think, Schedule | Automate Your Data Backups.

Additionally, both the local and remote backups would be scheduled as needed without any additional input from you. This combination of local backup connected to an online backup would be an ideal backup solution.
